About Sara

Welcome to a space where understanding yourself takes centre stage.

I’m here to support and empower you on your journey, offering a flexible and thoughtful approach to both counselling and coaching.

I hold an Advanced Level 5 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, an integrative qualification that includes a range of theories such as existential, transactional analysis, creative therapies, and inner child work—all adapted to the non-directive Person-Centred style. This training has nurtured within me a holistic approach, recognising the profound connection between a person’s psychological and spiritual dimensions. Regardless of your beliefs, I understand that these aspects are deeply entwined and inseparable.

I am also a Level 5 ILM qualified Coach, complemented by a Level 5 ADHD Coaching top-up qualification. Advocating for neurodiversity is at the heart of my practice. I encourage anyone with a neurodivergence—diagnosed or not—to explore it, embrace it, and uncover the reasons behind life’s challenges. Neurodivergence is never an excuse but often an essential explanation, and understanding your own unique experience is the first step towards a life that feels easier and more fulfilling. To help, I offer Neurodivergence Workshops for those who self-identify as neurodivergent or are newly diagnosed, alongside individual and group coaching sessions focused on specific life issues.

What might you bring to a session?

People come to me with a wide variety of concerns, and while I couldn’t possibly list them all, here are some examples:

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Relationship challenges, including co-dependency, infidelity, intimacy, and breakdown

  • Domestic abuse, including physical harm and coercion and control

  • Assaults, including sexual and racial abuse

  • Toxic masculinity

  • Addictions, such as substance misuse, sex, pornography, and antisocial behaviours

  • Eating disorders

  • Self-harm

  • Suicidal ideation

  • Neurodivergence, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, and Dyspraxia

  • Depression and bipolar disorder

How I work with you

My approach is flexible and adaptable, enabling us to find what works best for you. If, during counselling, you feel you would benefit from a more practical focus, we can switch temporarily to coaching, and vice versa. I always ensure these services remain distinct, respecting the ethical frameworks that guide them.

Your journey is yours, and you are always in control. If I ever feel that another form of therapy or a specialist’s expertise would be beneficial, I will share my thoughts and work with you to find the right support. Ultimately, every decision will be yours to make.
